About Fiona & Ian

Meet Fiona – Co-Founder

Fiona is passionate about spending her time traveling and seeking out adventure. She is a lover of dogs, horses and saltwater fly fishing. She grew up hunting and fishing in Wyoming, and traveled extensively across the world before the age of 18. Her favorite state is Alaska and she is the proud owner of a golden retriever named Finn. She used to be a professional chef and sommelier but realized it didn’t give her enough time spent in the great wild. Please feel free to reach out and say hello to Fiona!

Meet Ian – Co-Founder

Ian grew up on the Leelanau Peninsula. With Lake Michigan as a back yard he was catching King Salmon and driving boats at a very young age. After finishing high school the call of the mountains and the west drove Ian to relocate to Bozeman, Montana. Here he picked up fly fishing big western rivers as well as chasing elk, deer, bears and antelope around with a rifle and bow. After attending MSU for film he started a media company and produced an award winning documentary film about the Tongass National forest in Alaska. From there he worked with Beyond the Hunt as well as field producing “The Adventure Series” for the outdoor channel. With 37 trips to Alaska under his belt as well as 12 years of filming/traveling from Mexico to Alaska Ian is both knowledgeable and experienced with species ranging from Desert bighorns to Brown bears.
